And that is exactly why Dorpsgeluk is such a great base. You can be in the heart of Amsterdam by train in about 30 minutes. Prefer to get a breath of fresh air by the sea? Castricum aan Zee is less than a twenty-minute drive away. Haarlem, Alkmaar, the Zaanse Schans, and the Uitgeestermeer are also all within easy reach.
So you don't have to choose between the city, the beach, or nature.

Dorpsgeluk is situated right in the heart of the charming center of Uitgeest. As soon as you step out the door, you can walk straight to the bakery for fresh rolls, pick up a treat at the fishmonger, or enjoy a cup of coffee on one of the cozy terraces.
The holiday home is tastefully furnished and fully equipped. Not a standard holiday home, but a place where you feel at home immediately. Whether you are away for a weekend or planning a longer holiday, relaxation begins here as soon as you enter.
Everything you need
Dorpsgeluk is suitable for up to four people and features a comfortable living room with a television and radio. The sofa can easily be converted into a sofa bed for two extra guests.
In the open kitchen, you will find everything you need for elaborate cooking or preparing a quick meal, including a dishwasher, combination microwave, refrigerator, Nespresso machine, kettle, and a four-burner gas hob.
The spacious bedroom with a high ceiling features a comfortable double bed, a wardrobe, and a workspace. Ideal for combining work and relaxation.
The modern bathroom features a spacious walk-in shower, sink, and a washer and dryer. Additionally, there is a separate toilet.
Thanks to the air conditioning, it is wonderfully comfortable even during hot summer days.
After a day out, it is wonderful to come home to your own garden . Take a seat on the terrace, fire up the grill, pour a good glass of wine, and enjoy a long summer evening for a little while longer. Sometimes you don't have to go out for dinner at all to have a wonderful holiday evening.
