Hop on your bike and travel through time and landscape! This year, the Stichting Oer-IJ is organizing a guided bike tour along the Schulpvaart , a hidden waterway full of history, nature, and special places.
Accompanied by a guide, you'll cycle along old waterways that once flowed into the North Sea and from which Castricum was formed. During the tour, you'll discover historic settlements, the mill at Molendijk, the Nesse River with the Brakersdijk, and the lime kilns of Bakkum.
