Stroll from restaurant to restaurant, savor surprising amuse-bouches at each stop, and unwind in your own village. On Sunday, March 22, 2026, Uitgeest will once again transform into a grand culinary adventure as part of the Amusetour.

This is one of those afternoons when you ask yourself: Why don't we do this more often?

What is an amusement tour?

As part of the amusement tour, you will visit several restaurants in Uitgeest. At each location, you will receive a specially created amuse-bouche – small, surprising, and designed to awaken your taste buds.

You stroll from place to place at your own pace. No assigned seating, no long corridors, no rigid routine. Just enjoy, chat, laugh, and move on.

The following people are participating this year:

  • Restaurant Havenrijk

  • Restaurant Krelis

  • Bistro 't Schippersrijk

  • Brasserie Lekker aan de Haven

  • Restaurant Breeze

  • Restaurant Klaas

  • Brasserie C'est La Vie

Seven places. Seven cuisines. Seven completely different flavors.

And that's exactly what makes it so exciting: You discover places you wouldn't normally visit.

Why this is such a beautiful Sunday

The beauty of this concept? It's accessible yet unique.

No need to get worked up. No weekend bag, no complicated planning. Just a few hours together in Uitgeest.

There's something truly wonderful about sitting at a table with others, trying new flavors, and making new acquaintances. It feels like being in a small village. It's relaxed. And yet, a little bit special.

5 surprising (and somewhat cheeky) facts about amuse-bouches

  1. Some chefs use amuse-bouches to test their guests a little. Dare to try the unfamiliar foam, the unusual herb, or the little something you're not quite sure what it is? Then the kitchen knows: This is going to be an enjoyable evening.

  2. An amuse-bouche is often the most exciting thing you eat that afternoon. Because a single bite can be quite risky. If it's a failure, it's gone in a flash. If it's a success, you'll be talking about it for weeks.

  3. In Michelin-starred restaurants, there have been appetizers so small that guests mistook them for decoration. And they left them untouched. An awkward moment for everyone.

  4. There are chefs who deliberately create amuse-bouches that are a little off-balance. A little more acidic, a little spicier, a little more unexpected. Simply to wake you up.

  5. That 's the true magic of an amuse-bouche? That after the first bite you think: Oh, I want more of that! And that's exactly why an amuse-bouche is so irresistibly delicious.
