Okay, wait a minute.

A disco night with glitter, soap bubbles, live music and a 5-course meal… in Uitgeest?

Honestly, that sounds exactly like one of those evenings where you think, "We'll just pop in for a bit," and end up being the last one at the table.

On Sunday, August 9th, Restaurant Klaas will transform into a place filled with disco classics, atmospheric lighting, fine wines, and ever-increasing sing-alongs. Not just an ordinary dinner, but a truly memorable evening where food, music, and atmosphere blend seamlessly.

The Bubbles & Boogie experience features an exclusive 5-course meal accompanied by music from the 70s, 80s, and other feel-good hits. Menno Schellevis will host the evening, and Bart Brandjes will provide live vocals.

And yes… the official dress code is: glitter, shimmer and disco chic.

The outfit that you would normally think, "Why would I ever wear that?", finally has a purpose.

What can you expect?

In the evening, luxurious dishes, live music and entertainment merge into one big, exuberant disco night.

So it's not just about the food, but rather about one of those evenings where the tables slowly become more relaxed, people spontaneously start singing along, and nobody seems to be in a hurry to go home.

From classics of the seventies to feel-good songs that suddenly make you think:

"Okay, just one more."

5 things you might not know

  • There is a good chance that Menno Schellevis will try to involve the entire audience about halfway through the show.

  • Bart Brandjes sounds exactly like someone who, after two songs, suddenly gets people singing along much louder than planned.

  • The Klaas restaurant is increasingly organizing complete evenings instead of just "going out for a nice evening meal".

  • Those who say beforehand, "We will definitely not dance," are usually the first to get up.

  • Glitter seems to be more of an obligation than a dress code here.

From Boutique Stay

This is exactly the kind of evening that's perfect for a weekend getaway.

Good food, live music, a table full of beautiful moments, and in the end, nobody really pays attention to the clock.
