On Sunday, February 1st, you will be enchanted by the captivating sounds of Dasha Serck (violin) and Vital Stahievitch (piano) at De Zwaan Cultureel. The two musicians have a perfect understanding and together they will create a moving and sophisticated concert.
The duo performs works by Brahms, Spohr, Webern, and Saint-Saëns. Music in which tone color, tension, and emotion take center stage – precisely what this ensemble excels at.
About the musicians
Dasha Serck began playing the violin at the age of six. Through the junior program at the Conservatoire of The Hague, she studied at the Utrecht Academy of Music and continued her studies in Amsterdam, where she earned her Bachelor's degree under the tutelage of Ilya Grubert. Her playing is characterized by excellent technical mastery and a refined timbre. In 2024, she was recognized as a " Young Talent" on the television program "Podium Klassiek."
Pianist Vital Stahievitch was born in Minsk, Belarus, and graduated from the Belarusian Academy of Music. He is a piano accompanist at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and a piano teacher. In addition to his work as a soloist, he performs with various chamber music ensembles and orchestras both in Belarus and abroad.
