From August 7th to 10th, Egmond-Binnen will be completely transformed! For four days, the village will be transformed into a huge festival with music, markets, games, and, above all, lots of fun. It's an event you can attend with friends, children, or neighbors – and you'll always leave with a smile.
What you can expect:
Thursday evening starts with the famous evening market: over 200 stalls, live music and a wonderful summer atmosphere.
Friday begins with the grey market and in the evening there is a spectacle with the Tractor Pulling Rodeo and the Crate Pulp – village entertainment at its finest.
On Saturday there is plenty for the children to experience (for example, sliding down the bell, mud obstacles and jumping fun), followed by a fun barbecue and a musical evening party.
Sunday begins quietly with an open-air mass at the Adelbertusakker, followed by a hike and more games. Naturally, it ends with music—as is fitting.
Why is it so much fun?
Because it feels like coming home. Laughing together, enjoying delicious food, browsing the stalls, watching children play, and dancing in the square in the evening. Whether young or old, whether a villager or not – everyone joins in.
Tip from me:
Wear comfortable shoes, bring a blanket or a chair, and if you have kids, give them a lantern or a water gun—they're sure to have a blast. And don't forget to enjoy all the little things: a conversation with someone you don't know, a sunset with music in the background, or that one game that unexpectedly makes you laugh out loud.
In short: Egmond op z'n Kop is the place for you if you're looking for something authentic, warm, and cozy. Want to come with us?
