Some people book a ticket to Italy, India, and Bali to get back to themselves a bit.

Others simply stay in Uitgeest.

And honestly… that works surprisingly well too.

A day where you slow down, without it becoming complicated.

Where you clear your head for a moment, make something with your hands, and just eat well in between.

What can you expect

You start the morning peacefully with coffee and tea, in a green setting by the water.

Afterwards, you get moving with yoga, breathing, and meditation — to ground yourself for a moment and create space.

From there, you naturally step into working with ceramics.

Not because it has to be perfect, but precisely because it doesn't. Just do, feel, create.

In between, you can sit down for an extensive vegetarian lunch outside amidst the greenery.

And in the afternoon you continue — often just a little more relaxed than in the morning.

One of those days that unfolds on its own. Without haste, without obligation.

Who is this for

For everyone who wants to step away from the hustle and bustle for a while.

Without a plan, without expectations. Just a day for yourself.

5 things you didn't see coming

  1. You have your hands in the clay and suddenly think: why does this feel calmer than a weekend away?

  2. You hear yourself say: “Wait, I’ll just finish this” — to no one in particular, but you really mean it.

  3. You realize halfway through the day that you haven't thought about anything for an hour — and that that is apparently possible.

  4. You look around and think: how are we all making something so seriously here when no one knows what it will turn out to be?

  5. On the way back, everything feels a bit… quieter. Not spectacularly different, but enough to notice.

Finally

You don't have to go to Bali to unwind.

That saves you jet lag too.
