There are days we look forward to every year. The Open Tuinen Podium is definitely one of them.
On Sunday, July 12th, Uitgeest will once again transform into a giant open-air stage. Sixteen beautiful gardens will open their gates, and live music will fill the air. No large stages or long queues, just a relaxed stroll through the village, where you'll be constantly surprised by new gardens, different bands, and friendly people.
The garden of Boutique Stay is also participating again this year, and we are very much looking forward to welcoming everyone back.
What makes this event so special? The relaxed atmosphere. There's no need to be on time anywhere. Just stay seated if you like the music, then move on or strike up a conversation with people you didn't know five minutes ago. For us, this could be the most relaxing Sunday of the summer.
Welcome to our garden
We look forward to welcoming you to our garden again this year. Whether you're just popping in for a quick visit or planning to stay a little longer – you are most welcome.
In the afternoon , BuccaSwing Rhythm Rollers and UnderCover will perform. Two distinct bands, each with their own unique style, will ensure top-notch entertainment throughout the afternoon. From rousing rock 'n' roll and rhythm & blues to well-known classics performed acoustically – the variety makes for a thoroughly enjoyable evening.
Of course, we'll be offering delicious food and drinks again this year. We're keeping it simple and cozy. Donations are always welcome, and all proceeds will go to the artists who are making this afternoon possible.
Feel free to bring a blanket if you'd like to relax on the grass. While we do have plenty of seating, experience has shown that it's pleasantly crowded every year. And let's be honest: with a drink in hand and live music playing in the background, lounging on a blanket isn't such a bad idea at all.

Although we would of course be delighted to welcome you to our garden, we especially hope that you will continue your walk and discover as many gardens as possible.
This year, a total of 16 gardens are participating, and 34 musical groups will perform along the route. Each garden has its own unique atmosphere and program. This is precisely what makes the Open Tuinen Podium so special: no two walks are alike.

1. You will visit places you would never normally go. During the Open Tuinen Podium, sixteen private gardens open their gates. A unique opportunity to take a look behind the hedges of Uitgeest.
2. There is no set route. Feel free to stay if you like a particular band, or spontaneously move on to the next garden. You decide how your afternoon unfolds.
3. Our garden has been a popular meeting place for years. Every year we look forward to sharing our garden for an afternoon with so many lovely visitors. Perhaps we'll see you again this year!
4. Drinks simply taste a little better outdoors. Find a nice spot, listen to the music, enjoy something delicious, and above all, forget about time for a moment. That's exactly what this afternoon is all about.
5. It's quite possible you'll stay longer than planned. We hear it year after year. "We only meant to drop by for a quick chat..." And before you know it, the afternoon is over. That's perhaps the greatest compliment this event can receive.

Whether you're staying at Boutique Stay, are from the area, or are traveling to Uitgeest specifically for the Open Tuinen Podium, you are most welcome.
