On Sunday, December 7, 2025, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., we welcome the Zaanse ensemble Saen Amare to De Zwaan Cultureel for an atmospheric coffee concert.
The ensemble of this unique trio – piano (Ruud Luttikhuizen), flute (Njola Ritzen), and trumpet (Ruud Kleiss) – creates a rare yet enchanting combination of sounds. Look forward to an hour full of harmony, surprising melodies, and a warm atmosphere.
About Saen Amare: These three musicians have been teaching and performing together for over 15 years. Their repertoire moves effortlessly between classical, pop, and film music. They have performed in musicals and René Mioch's CineMusic Experience , among others. In 2020, they recorded a CD with Marco Bakker featuring the beautiful anthem from the musical Chess .
During this coffee concert, Saen Amare will perform works by Saint-Saëns, Eric Ewazen and Astor Piazzolla, among others.
A musical Sunday morning of the highest class – perfect to round off your weekend.
