I don't necessarily have to travel to Spain to have a Spanish evening. The main thing is that the tapas are good.


In fact... if I had the choice between hours of driving or a table full of tapas by Lake Uitgeest, I would know exactly what I would choose.

On Friday, October 9th, the Havenrijk restaurant will transform into a little piece of Spain. Imagine a table laden with hot and cold tapas, a glass of sangria, live music, and above all, an evening where you linger far too long because it's simply too cozy.


You actually want to try everything.

That's perhaps the downside of tapas.

You intend to take it easy, and before you know it, the table is full.

Bruschetta, Spanish olives, carpaccio, Manchego cheese with Coppa di Parma, albondigas, patatas bravas, spicy prawns, paella, garlic mushrooms with Gorgonzola, empanadas... and I've probably forgotten half of it.

Fortunately, you don't have to make a decision on this Spanish evening.

You can always try again.


As if you were on vacation for a moment.

What I always like about evenings like these is that it's not just about the food.

The live music, the relaxed atmosphere, and a good glass of sangria make the experience perfect. For a few hours, you feel like you're in a Spanish square, while in reality you're just looking out over the Uitgeestermeer.

And honestly... doesn't that sound like a lovely Friday evening?


An evening for connoisseurs

Whether with friends, partner or the whole family – a Spanish evening is all about having fun together.

Don't eat too quickly, because you still have somewhere to go.

But I'll order a small dish as well.

Have another piece of bread.

Just one more drink.

And then you stay seated a little longer.
