If you ask a resident of Uitgeest about the best event of the year, you will most likely get the same answer: the fair!
For five days, the village is all about fun and festivities. The scent of oliebollen and cotton candy fills the air, music plays everywhere, and the terraces transform into one big party. Whether with children, friends, or simply to soak up the atmosphere – the Uitgeester fair is an experience not to be missed.

The fair offers a successful mix of spectacular attractions and classic rides that return year after year. Of course, bumper cars, claw machines, and carousels are a must, but adrenaline junkies will also find plenty to enjoy.
New this year is the Crazy Clown , a colorful family roller coaster making its debut in Uitgeest. The grounds also feature Breakdance, Booster, Basejumper, Catapult, trampolines, another family roller coaster, and the popular camel race.
And let's be honest... a fair is of course not complete without a bag of fresh oliebollen, cotton candy or a portion of churros.
Music on Klaasplein
For many residents of Uitgeest, the fair isn't complete without the Deunen. Traditionally, it begins on Monday morning, July 6th, at 8:00 a.m. in Klaasplein. Afterwards, the festivities begin with live music, a lively atmosphere, and a square full of people celebrating the fair together.
On the other days of the fair, there is also plenty of music at Eetcafé Klaas, 't Portiertje, and Buona Sera. So it's not just the fairgrounds that are bustling with activity, but the whole village is buzzing with life.
