A sparkling morning concert full of virtuosity, energy, and youthful courage. On Sunday, October 5, De Zwaan Cultureel welcomes the Neflac Ensemble , a group of top young flautists led by renowned coaches from the classical world.
The ensemble consists of eight to ten flutists between the ages of 13 and 25, selected by the Dutch Flute Academy . Together, they perform at a high level, from baroque and modern compositions to folk music, covering the entire flute family—from piccolo to contrabass flute.
The ensemble's founder is Emily Beynon , principal flautist of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra. The ensemble is under the musical direction of Jeroen Bron , principal teacher at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague.
Previously they performed in the Spiegelzaal of the Concertgebouw, in TivoliVredenburg and at international festivals – and now in Uitgeest.
